Van Gogh Alive Malaysia by Malaysiakini

The Starry Night, painted inside a mental asylum, is probably the most famous painting by Vincent van Gogh, a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter aged 37 when he died after a lifetime of commercial failure.

Today, van Gogh is one of the most recognised painters throughout the world, although he was not widely appreciated during his lifetime.

Malaysians now can experience and appreciate his works and legacy as the immersive multi-sensory exhibition, Van Gogh Alive, has now landed in Kuala Lumpur.

The gallery at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur will open to the public on Dec 17 and run daily until March 16 next year, displaying floor-to-ceiling projections of Van Gogh’s beloved artworks.
